The visitors had gone in front at their home field with quarterback Fields scoring a five-yard touchdown to cap the Jets' opening drive
But the Patriots responded in the second period as Henderson scored two short rushing scores before the running back hauled in a throw from Drake Maye at the rear of the endzone halfway into the third period to extend the lead to 21 to 7
"That was a crucial moment for him delivering, and it's been fantastic for him to keep earning playing time," Maye commented on the rookie. "He aims to be outstanding."
Fields connected with Metchie toward the end of the third period to reduce the lead for the Jets but Borregales booted a two field goals in the fourth quarter as the Patriots closed out the win
